TNM

A few years ago, passing through one of my recurrent introspection periods, I became obsessed over the impossibility of preparing live shows for a group of new compositions I had been working on that defined a new phase, different from what I had been doing until that time. This impossibility stemmed from the fact that these compositions, to be presented like they ought to, would require a level of preparation that was prohibitive.
Not being able to solve the issue I decided to pay no attention to it and keep writing and discovering where would this all take me musically.
It was during that time (2004) that the opportunity to write music for a different media for which I hadn’t worked before presented itself, and this new direction I had been exploring was welcome. A group of people from all over the world had gotten in touch and had been working for 2 years already on a Video Game, a total conversion for the acclaimed Deus Ex. The Nameless Mod would be finally released on March 15th 2009, and it would become the most ambitious conversion in history, with a development time of 7 years, it would gain the praise of thousands of fans and the Editors Choice Award 2009 from moddb.com.

On December 10th 2009, 6 months after the game entered the scene TNM’s Official Soundtrack was released. With music written by all the composers that made the team (3 main composers, and 5 additional composers).
Despite the fact that I had already mentioned this album on a previous entry, there is a good reason to mention it again: the radio show “Función Privada” hosted by Roberto Aschieri from radio Beethoven – 96.5 FM will present a special, this Thursday May 13th at 20:30, featuring the music I wrote for TNM and an interview. The invitation is open for everyone who might be interested in music different from what I did in my solo album, maybe less commercial, but equally evocative and powerful. The interview is in Spanish
